The BackStory
Tiffany (@HistoryMuse) is a public historian whose work focuses on girls’ identity in history, museums, and material culture. She believes that more inclusive representation at historical sites (including museums, historic sites, and memorials) is integral to inspiring, and achieving equality for, girls and women.
Tiffany also loves exploring stories from the Ancient, Medieval, and Early Modern periods. Her current research includes projects on child witches, tracing the history of pets through archaeology, a biography of one of Benjamin Franklin’s inner circle, and a guidebook for interpreting girlhood in museums.
